Pōhutukawa brings warmth and complexity to the native-led character of Bush. Time on toasted pōhutukawa imparts silky sweetness. Think toffee, vanilla, a hint of pine. Layered over rimu, mānuka, kawakawa, tarata and red mātipo. A contemplative slow sipper; equally compelling in stirred classics.

I collect NZ gins and this is the first one that truly drinks like a whisky. Sweet, gentle spice, and a (not too strong) native wood smoke. Good with a dry tonic. nailed it.

We are on to your third bottle. Each one is as good as the last.

If you like whisky you need to try this. The barrel aging does something incredible. Vanilla, warmth, but still gin. My new favourite.

Bought the Bush first and loved it, then tried this. Completely different experience. Sipping this neat by the fire is next level. Worth every cent.
